Central Maine 4th of July Recap

What a difference 24-hours (or less than) makes!

Another incredible Central Maine 4th of July Celebration is in the books!

For 36 years, our annual celebration has brought our community together to honor our nation’s independence, and this year was one for the history books. Over three days, families and friends gathered to enjoy everything the festival had to offer, and on the Fourth of July itself, we welcomed a record-breaking crowd as our community came together to celebrate America’s 250th Birthday.

The celebration featured outstanding live entertainment, including American Idol’s Josiah Dyer, and annual crowd favorites like Night Train, an amazing midway from the New Smokey’s Greater Shows featuring rides such as the Zipper, Flying Bobs, Tilt-A-Whirl, and many more, along with more food vendors than ever before, great activities for all ages, and countless memories made with family and friends.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our Police Officers, whose professionalism and dedication helped keep everyone safe throughout the celebration.

Thank you to our Firefighters and all First Responders, who are always ready to serve our community whenever they are needed.

Thank you to the men and women of our Armed Forces, whose service and sacrifice continue to protect the freedoms we celebrated this Independence Day.

Thank you to our incredible volunteers—both those who worked throughout the event and those who spend countless hours behind the scenes all year long planning, organizing, and preparing. Your dedication is the reason this celebration continues to thrive year after year.

And finally, thank you to our generous sponsors. Your continued support makes this celebration possible, and we are deeply grateful for your commitment to our community.

What a wonderful way to celebrate America’s 250th Birthday!

As we look ahead, we remain proud of our tradition. For 36 years, the Central Maine 4th of July Celebration has given our community a place to come together in patriotism, friendship, and celebration. We are honored to continue that tradition and remain committed to celebrating our nation’s independence for generations to come.

To everyone who attended, volunteered, performed, sponsored, or supported this year’s celebration in any way, thank you. We can’t wait to welcome you back next year for another unforgettable Central Maine 4th of July Celebration!
